Andy Rains

System Sales Engineer

Andy was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois. He attended the University of Louisville for college, where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

After college, he spent time with an automotive supplier as a project engineer. Andy then entered the HVAC industry, spending 5 years as a market development sales engineer for a custom air handler manufacturer in Maryland Heights, Missouri, where he traveled the country training their rep force and doing presentations for customers. In 2021, he made the move to his current role as a System Sales Engineer at Koch Air /Koch Applied Solutions.

When he’s not out selling HVAC equipment, Andy loves spending time with his wife and two young children. Andy’s also an avid runner, golfer, and sports fan.
