David Griffey
System Sales Engineer
David Griffey brings extensive experience in commercial HVAC, building automation, operations, and technical sales to Koch Applied Solutions. After serving in the U.S. Army Infantry, David began his HVAC career as a Service Technician with Trane, gaining hands-on experience with heavy mechanical HVAC equipment and building automation systems.
He later moved into project management at Trane, overseeing building automation and Performance Contracting projects, before becoming Operations Manager for the Evansville and Western Kentucky operations team. His career has also included owning an HVAC contracting and service business, serving as Regional Operations Manager with HMC Service, and working as a Sales Engineer for JCI/York and Carrier.
David’s combination of field, project, operations, and sales experience gives him a practical understanding of HVAC systems and the challenges customers face when evaluating equipment and system solutions.
