Koch Applied Solutions ​was honored to again attend the 6th Annual James B. Beam Institute Industry Conference took place from March 17 to 19, 2025, at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton Student Center in Lexington. The event attracted over 1,200 distillers, researchers, and industry professionals for three days of learning and information exchange in Kentucky’s signature industry.

The conference featured insights from more than 100 experts, covering topics such as hospitality, sustainability, legal aspects, technology, maturation, fermentation, agriculture, distillation, and human resources.

Notable sessions included discussions on sustainability, legislative landscapes, and agricultural practices, with contributions from organizations like the Kentucky Distillers’ Association and industry leaders such as Heaven Hill Brands, Suntory Global Spirits, Brown-Forman, and Maker’s Mark Distillery. The conference also highlighted advancements in spirits analysis technology, with companies showcasing their latest innovations. Overall, the conference served as a platform for industry professionals to share research, discuss trends, and explore best practices, reinforcing Kentucky’s pivotal role in the global spirits industry.
